Love Is In The Air

I had the pleasure of photographing Michelle and Erick earlier this month. This couple will be tying the knot later this year. I’m extremely excited for their upcoming nuptials. I am so grateful that they took the time out of their schedules to allow me to capture some of their love. I pray that they have many blissful years in a thriving marriage. Congratulations Mich and E!!!!

Forever Family

Growing up, I spent a lot of time with my family. That included time with parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. There was never a dull moment when spending time with the family. We actually talked and played games and cooked meals together. I had an opportunity to photograph a family that traveled from as far as New York City. Not saying that because it is big time NYC. I say that because this family genuinely values the time that they spend together, creating lasting memories. I am grateful that they chose me to photograph them. Here are a few photos from my time with them.

The Gift of Life

Parents are given an amazing gift from God in the form of children. There is an inexplicable bond between parent and child. The love is unconditional, just like God’s love for His children. Psalm 139:13-14 says that He forms the inward parts and that He covers the child in the mother’s womb. Children are fearfully and wonderfully made, by God. My dear friends entrusted their maternity session to me. With this being their first child, I wanted to ensure that I captured their desired vision. ┬áHere are a few photos from their session.

Mission Complete

On February 1st, 2016, I started a digital photography certification class at the local community college. I signed up for the class to gain a better understanding of photography and how to become better at what I love to do. Although I have attended other classes and workshops prior to now, this class taught me quite a few things. I learned the importance of metering. I learned how to meter. I learned how to use flash effectively. I developed an efficient work flow in LightRoom. On February 29th, 2016, the last day of class, we took a field trip to Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. I had the opportunity to see how much I progressed from the first day to the last day. It was a wonderful experience to become a student of photography in order to become a better photographer.

Family Ties

As the holiday season continues to be filled with joy and laughter, more families have reached out to capture their Fotogenic Memories. This holiday season has been such a blessing as I have had several opportunities to photograph loving families. I am grateful to have been a part of their Christmas cheer.
